Behold Ye Tear! Poem by Shiny Star

Behold Ye Tear!

Where doest thou dwell, ye unruly tear,
How comest thou creep out from my eye?
Did I rent it out on a day long forgotten
And hath the lease run out at last?

“I’m alone in this room”, that’s what methought
Lo thou art here and I’m not alone anymore.
When I was weary trying to see what went around,
O, hither thou camest to blur my sight.

Hath ‘My Heart’ fall’n in love with thee during thine stay,
Cuz She’s screaming louder with each step thee take away.
Being so tender, warm, calm and seemingly refine’d,
How doest thou give Her pain and make Me feel alright

Fare thee well *mon mystérieux ami!
I know not whether I’ll see thee ’gain.
Now that thou art gone, …back came my sight,
Alas, how strange… thou have paid thine rent,
Cuz what I failed to see before is now under one great spotlight.
