Being - Poem by Ingrid Kern
My soul has taken flight each night
I spend away from you.
Your soft embrace,
your gentle touch is but a dimming memory.
Reality brings separation,
pre existing obligations,
insubordination against confinement.
My soul has taken flight each night.
My dreams are now with you.
