Travelling in the ethereal world by the breath of God,
Thou hadst been designed, yet for whom knew not we,
Unpredicted to us, yet long been waiting for His Answer,
Unceasing supplications unto Him we poured forth
For seven and ten milestones amidst pricks and pains;
Our journey begun on His Purpose thro' roads and cross-roads;
Holding a blank sheet of paper sans a portrait on it;
But drifted within an empty domain of shallow thoughts.
A timeless breath from the Timeless Breath was sent,
And it entered into the womb of a prayerful soul,
And the breath grew within personified as His Gift:
It hath been His Gift unto us as a girl child.
The mother-would-be lay in anesthesia awaiting the child's birth,
The surgeon played with knives needles to bring out the child out.
The expectant father-would-be was on his way to hug the child,
And a Good Samaritan kept standing at the threshold.
The time for the child's birth crawled pace by pace;
On his way the man kept rolling with an expectant heart.
Minutes crawled; seconds kept flying: the clock kept ticking.
A cry from within was heard to our deaf ears;
Yet in no time the cry was heard everywhere across the world,
And the child was born, and it was a girl child.
The man and the woman became a father and a mother.
And thou hath been a gift unto us from Above.
