Being Immortal Poem by Chester Maynes

Being Immortal

I stand at the portal of my being immortal
In the verge of awe, there is a huge revival
It took me in abrupt renewal
This is the channel-essential

I shake the dust of my feet
Entered this border between the skeptical and meek
I shun from groping the evil-bars beneath
The enemies started to accept retreat

I walk the path in the portal of my being immortal
This vision is an emblem of perpetual
I am equipped with weapons in several
This is the conquest in perennial

I gain an endless victory
The evils are quelled in eternity
I am in superficial brevity
Great is my charity
