Being In The Middle Poem by Lauren Saari

Being In The Middle

Rating: 5.0

I hate being in the middle
I hate not knowing for who to care
I hate the constant worrying
It's something that i can't bare

Please stop the yelling
It only leads to cries
I can only hope that what your saying
Is just a bunch of lies

Cause i know you love each other
Even though it may not seem that way
Just realizing your differences
'I'm sorry' is all you have to say

It's just a few simple words
To make everything alright
Or we can all just sit awake
And listen in all night

I can hear the yelling through the walls
I can hear the pain in your voices
I hear the screaming and the cries
They're all familiar noises

'Teddy, will they be alright? '
Though i know the answer to the question
I'd like to believe that it were true
But questions like that are doomed for rejection
