Being With You Poem by Stephen Lingo

Being With You

This pain comes from my heart
But let me begin at the start
The wound never heals
Because of your ordeal
You chose fame over me
So can you really blame me
For trying to numb the pain
You left and I swear it felt like getting hit by a train
You come back and tell me to be with you
What did you really think I was gonna do
Just welcome you back with open arms
You may think you have irresistable charms
But I cannot decide to be with you rite now
You want me back and I'd rather start smoking crack
I swear your brain must've got jacked
You say I still love you
Well that may be true
But I will not choose
Cuz you broke my heart in two
So for now we are through
Until the day my heart stops bleeding
Then and only then can I be With You

Being With You
