Believe Not Monkey - Poem by Gajanan Mishra
Believe not this monkey.
This is not Gandhi's monkey.
This is not Ram's monkey.
But see and observe this monkey.
This is there under the open air.
This monkey is there dancing,
Jumping, eating, sleeping
At his sweet will at any time
Anywhere as he thinks
This world is there for him.
This monkey is there to say
Hear everything, see every sight
Go everywhere till life
Is there with you.
