Our beauty doesn't save us from your
harsh words
Our beauty, they don't save us from being
held captive under a man's watch.
Our beauty, same reason I have no name
They are the same reason, I have only
25 years to live my life and the rest
to live for someone else.
Unfortunately, I only lived 5 years of that
slavery and wasn't able to see my dignity.
After the world had torn my dead body,
Stepped on it and even lashed it.
I wasn't able to see my acceptance
But I was patient
I, my body and my pen were patient.
Don't dare go into my head
It's no place to be
With the Wuthering and
hung curse
I kept the world on a pause
Thousands of beauties would have cured
me of my disease
but the world swore that I shall be
deceased.
I smiled every day for it to change
I had few friends
But Fate and Life kept upsetting me
every day.
