Below A Sylvan Screen

Below a sylvan screen
Falling leaves careen
Where moonlight streams
Dance luminous beams
Her eyes agleam
Her smile, pristine
There we stood abeam
Two smiling figurines
But now the moonlit beams
Disclose a lonely scene
For we no longer convene
Under the glow of Selene
The memories crystalline
Of my not-forgotten queen
