Beneath The Weight Poem by ashok jadhav

Beneath The Weight

I wander through the ache,
hands outstretched in the dark,
trying to grasp a thread of reason
in the tangle of sorrow that binds me.
Every hurt is a question
that refuses to be answered,
every tear a riddle I cannot solve,
every heartbeat a whisper
of why this suffering must be mine.
I look for signs in shadows,
for light between the cracks,
for meaning hidden
in the very wound that wounds me.
Pain is patient; it does not yield.
It teaches me the weight of living,
the fragility of hope,
the quiet strength of endurance,
even when answers do not come.
I may never understand
why the world turns as it does,
why grief visits without reason,
why hearts break and bones ache—
yet still I search,
and in searching, I carry the stubborn spark
that suffering alone cannot extinguish.
