The best things in life I never planned for.
They were joys that came at me, from behind,
Fell on me from above, bumped into me sideways.
Lessons that sent me tumbling, running, fleeing, flying.
Also sent me crying,
Loosing - gaining faith.
They shook me about, changed the winds, threw me of course.
The best things in life I do not plan for.
They are the adventures I treasure the most.
So I grab my walking stick, and head out the door,
For HER smile caught me off guard,
And HER eyes screamed 'adventure'
