Bestest Friends Poem by Someone So Dumb

Bestest Friends

I had heard best friends are quite rare to find out
I wondered if, me too can find out someone ... someday
And then it was you, who entered in my life
You told me, that I'm your bestest friend
even when I didn't asked for it
I was all busy with myself and happy alone
You showed me, sharing feeling can double the fun
I never asked for an Angel
cause I don't believe in such stupidity
But you told me, even believing in nonsense
sometimes can do wonders

You often made me laugh and teased mercilessly few times
which occasionally irritated me and turned me on
I thought all gals are alike ... nerd and boring
but you made me feel that each gal is special in herself
Always I loved your presence around me
the way you kept on talking endlessly, made me high all the times
You said 'sharing is caring' ... and we swapped our secrets
even I wasn't habitual of sharing ... but i did,
cause it gave me a rare chance to know, Who you are?
Few times I talked dirty and nasty about you
Instead of getting mad at me, you took those as compliments
with smile on your face, even when it was hard to bear

Just in eight months of friendship, I found you and lost you (completely)
Since now its been a while
what you don't wanna hear
An open truth always lead to a dead end
And it happened
Now we don't wanna talk or text each other
Feels like, just as 'true love' your term 'bestest friend' was an illusion
nothing but completely vague, self coined word
This wasn't the destiny, I ever asked for?
I will miss the time we shared in library,
walked together in eve, had fights,
enjoyed being in Law facu., ate ice cream,
did shopping (holding hands in hands) ... a lot more
Knowing that your absence will somehow tear me apart
I have to endure it ... patiently, calmly and silently
