Betrayal Poem by Carla Nestoros

Betrayal

You closed my eyes so softly
Wishing for me to sleep, steadily
I refuse as my anguish takes over
And i bite my lip
Shake my head in disbelief
Images flash through my head
Reliving my hell
What am i supposed to do
As my mind starts to spin around
Pale skin, heavy breath
My eyes fill up with crimson
I thought you'd never hurt me.
