It shouldn't have been you!
I tied my soul to yours,
You were more than a friend,
And, I even called you brother.

It shouldn't have been you!
I thought I could trust you
We shared a deep connection
Our friendship was so envied.

It shouldn't have been you!
You betrayed my trust,
You sold me to the world,
Yet, claimed to love me.

It shouldn't have been you!
Maybe I loved you too much
I thought you had my back.
Sadly, it was you who stabbed my back.
