I gave you the honour of my trust
I trusted you with my thoughts
I trusted you with my heart
I believed in you, the good in you

knowing everyone else had given up
I listened to you, heard your words
I felt your fears, i felt your hurt
I advised you best i could
I believed in you, the good in you

I realise now the saying is true
you can't change a person if they don't want to change.
I did my best to help you see
you are worth more, more than what you believe
I've come to realise one thing now
you can't trust anyone but yourself..
I believed in you, the good in you

To me our relationship ment the world,
That no matter what happend you'd always be honest
Like i was honest with you.
I believed in you, the good in you

I guess in my youth im being nieve
you did tell me once before, that you can only rely on yourself
I guess now i see you were right all along
I wasted my time, you lied to me,
for that I must leave,
the hurt i feel, consumes me
I believed in you, the good in you.

Now i believe in nothing,
But I will find my inner strength.
for that, I thankyou.
