I remember a time of happiness
When you told me that you cared
But you shattered my heart to pieces
Not an inch of it was spared
The reason for this torture
The true answer does escape me
But the affects will last forever
The pain will define and shape me
It will leave an empty space
Where my heart resided with care
My only hope is one day
I can escape the depths of my despare
The happiness that fell upon me
No longer falls like rain
Instead I feel the impacts of
Massive avalanches of pain
Wave after wave
They shake me to the core
The pain is more intense
Than anything that has come before
We talked about forever
in some far off place
Now its been so long since I've seen you
I can hardly picture you face
I pray the lord to take me
I no longer wish to live
Because you aqre the only one who
My love I wish to give
Lord I know you have been there
Through all my desperate times
Even now in my darkest hour
Your light forever shines
So once again I pray to you
Dont let this be the end
Bring back the love of my life
And make me whole again
For she is the better part of me
She has been all along
She makes me a better person
And beside her I feel strong
Strong enough to take on the world
And accomplish any goal
I love her with more than just my heart
I love her with all my soul
