Better Start Poem by Victoria Cooper

The poem that I wrote is entitled "Better start" in which I give an apology representing all of the white Australian community. The poem talks about the mistakes that were made in the past but it also talks about how these new generations have hope that we can be forgiven. We want to make things the right way and even though we can't fix all the things that happened in the past we can face our history, accept that we cannot change it and move on but this time with the right foot.
