Better To Be Safe Than Sorry Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Better To Be Safe Than Sorry

Prophets say king braveheart's days are numbered
And fated to never finish his term
Are these prophecies to be remembered
Whether they are true I cannot confirm

But they do conspire I see them in black
Hidden within the depths of secrecy
These demons plan such a ruthless attack
Without morals or any decency

Some will say, so where are these killers then
For we think that you do propagate lies
But I am just a messenger my friend
For only you can open your own eyes

All I can speak of is what I have felt
Believe it or not but you have been telt
