At nineteen i dreamed with open eyes
Chasing future under the wide skies
With swords of hope and mind so free
I found someone that was better me

The bond of love grew so deep
Secrets to guard and promises to keep
The flame was warm and sweet
But it scorched every heartbeat

After a while the road divide
Some dreams fulfilled some set aside
Yet memories linger, soft and bright
A youth that glows in the dark night

Time may fade, paths may be apart
The love will remain always in my heart
For once we lived so happy so true
My world for me was just me and you.
