Between The Branches Of A Birch Tree Poem by Tina Rizk

Between The Branches Of A Birch Tree

My love,

I break all chains of attachment
As a bird breaks her little cage
To breathe the air of freedom
And kiss the sky at the horizon

I surrender to my soul
To the path of my fate
To the greatness of your love
Your tender love my sweet soulmate

You're the conductor, the beacon
The only star in the night sky
That tenderly guides my steps
Through everyday's life traps

Your love rhymes with goals, growth
A flowery path where self-love flows
With you I'm that colorful, joyful bird
Who builds a nest of love, for you and me
Between the branches of a birch tree
