Beyond Language (Sonnet #282) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Beyond Language (Sonnet #282)

As a love poetess, I wondered today,
Would you prefer 'I love you' or 'ti amo, '
Yet I know you love all my heart conveys,
Be it in Latin, or a language nobody knows.

Souls need no language to communicate,
Vibes flow back and forth smoothly as the breeze,
A thin thread connects hearts of real soulmates,
Their hearts' roots are entwined as that of trees.

Sacred is the diction that lovers speak,
For it touches the heart where The Divine dwells,
Love is not a child game as hide and seek,
It's a safe haven of peace, a marvel.

But, there's a language that outweighs them all,
It's the outstanding tenderness of your soul. ❤
