Beyond Sanity Poem by cassandra rainbolt

Beyond Sanity

Sleep...desired but
Unreachable
Loneliness...unwanted but
Bonded tight
Thoughts, insanity, fear
Tears splashing against the floor
Blood swallowed by the drain
Chaos polluting her mind
Yet concealed by her beauty
Lovely's only quiet are her
Own silent screams
Pleading for sanity, for a heartbeat
Hugging her knees
Water spilling over
Steam enveloping
High by blade, while she grows paler
Scene fading she returns
To her dark dementia
Lovely's mind
An inescapable asylum....
