Beyond The Clouds Poem by pam handa

Beyond The Clouds

Let the body mind and free spirit hold;
Let's go away beyond this mundane world
To a fascinating new adventurous realm,
Where death and disaster don't overwhelm;
Where distances, birds and the trees;
Rivers, oceans and the sea breeze-
Nothing reminds us of separation blue;
Just me, you and love's whispers true.

Where the mind breaks off all worldly chains
Of division, drudgery, disaster and pains;
Where anxiety, ambition, failure and force
Don't trouble the poor soul, and of course,
Let's run off to the mystic heaven alone,
Far away from the cacophony of the telephone.
Where life becomes a gentle, wordless prayer;
Where thoughts are simply exotic, though rare;
There beyond the clouds will be you and me¬-
Unchained, unbound, absolutely free.
There surely we will feel and ultimately see
Pure ecstasy, however tragic life on earth may be!
