Beyond The Gentle Knock Poem by Binu Mathew

Beyond The Gentle Knock

A gentle cry brings baby,
Great joy blended in mother's milk,
Like nestlings fed by parents.
But not all doors of compassion,
Open with a gentle knock!
A sloth-like regime might need,
Dancing in streets with sound ‘n fury,
To heed the wail of starving masses!
