Beyond The Veil (Sonnet #280) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Beyond The Veil (Sonnet #280)

Love is scribed in your eyes that I gaze upon,
So tender they are, speaking in poetry,
They're as soft as a spring breeze at dawn,
They smile and whisper to me melodies.

They say eyes are the mirrors of the soul,
Your eyes see through me, they delve in deep,
Beyond the veil, where souls sway enthralled,
Where hearts have eyes and ears, where we can speak.

Your love fills the gap in my tapestry,
Where cracks exist, you plant red roses,
You pour within me boundless energy,
Of your divine love, poems my heart composes.

To you, O soulmate, on this Valentine's Day,
I vow my love shall never fade away.
