Between us time and space exist not
We count not the hours, seasons or years
We add not distance of planes miles or ships knots
In the realm of our souls, we're always near.
We belong not to this transient world
We're souls wearing a humble earthly suit
The thought that love ends upon death is absurd
Our love dates back to when volcanoes were mute.
You're as close to me as my little heart
As the roots of an old tree, we're entwined
We're born to love each other from the start
Since Eden's Garden, your hand was holding mine.
In your tender soul I found my homeland,
And till now you're holding my heart and hand.
