ஆமதை நோயும்தே காபிமானம் பீடிக்க
சோகம் அனைத்தும் அறி!

Life is wondrous but is uncertain like water drop on lotus petal
Desire of body and disease will affect it always
These all are nothing but tragedy you understand!

பொருளினை ஈட்ட இயலும் வரையில்
விரும்பி யுனைநேசிக் கும்நினது நற்குடும்பம்
ஈட்ட இயலா முதுமையில் வீட்டிலுனை
கேட்கவும்ஆள் இல்லை யடா?

Your family will fondly love you
Till the time you earn money for them
When you become incapable of earning
and reached your old age
No soul will even inquire about you!
