Big Shoes Poem by Joe Rivas

Big Shoes

Rating: 4.0

I remeber how it was when you were still around
I had not a care or worry in the world
I could do anything that I wanted to
Becasue you always took care of me
You made sure that I had everything
You worked so hard and so much
And your missed by your family

They are such Big Shoes to fill
And I will do my best to
And I hope you will be proud of your son
I hope that I wear them well

And now that your gone I try to look after Mom
She misses you so bad
I still have to dry her eyes sometimes
She really isnt the same without you
But then neither am I
But I just hope that where ever it is you are
You know that we will be just fine

They are such Big Shoes to fill
And I will do my best to
And I hope you will be proud of your son
I hope that I wear them well
