Binge Eating. Poem by P .

Binge Eating.

Fatigued, I sit,
Half 'wake, half asleep,
Drowned in this pool
Of misery, so deep.

Not an ounce of hunger
Was present in these veins
So, why? I wonder9
Did food call my name?

What was I upset about,
That needed to be addressed?
My mind produced no answer
And rushed to food instead

Self control, I failed to regain
Blinded by emotion
Left with my heart, worthless and ashamed
Food was everything but the solution
