Birds - Poem by David C. Simon

Flying over mountains high,
Sailing through the clear blue sky.
Diving to your favorite tree,
Sharing food with family.
Build a nest of twigs and leaves,
Hoping there will be no thieves.
Wishing on a night time star
To see the sun set from afar.
Drifting off into a sleep,
Holding dreams that you will keep.
