Birth Of The Moon Poem by Maylynn Hughes

Birth Of The Moon

Borrowing time for the moment to be real
Intensity to the extreme, just to feel.
Retro only in idea of the modern mind
Thrilling to the ethereal spirit divine.
Hither to the tides grow quite high

Of brilliance and bright white-blue light
Forth coming is the beginning of a dawn,

Tracked by the universe in a special bond
Her face quite heavenly in the night sky
Eternal and clear as the cocoon died.

Mother Moon, born anew in the rise of man
Oblivious to the linear time humans demand.
Omnipotence in every aspect of the trilogy
Nocturnal as the reflection of eternity.
