You Decide Poem by Maylynn Hughes

You Decide

On an exploration of this sublime freedom
With the illusion of secluded wanderlust
Enter in dreaming, an enigmatic kingdom
Perception is the forlorn problem we discuss

As to the answers of vibrant questions
Animated and vivacious we find alive
The soul as spirit in intuition
Extravagant is the richer jargon and jive

Perspective and emotions we express
None understand the lustre of it all
Lies are taken as truth as we confess
Confusion is discovered as we crawl

Into the complexity of a nightmare fantasy
That becomes our reality when we capitulate
All we need to be free is to live in pure ecstasy
And the luxurious hallucination to dissipate

You decide which is the truth?
And which is the deception?
