Black - Poem by Aishwarya Sriram

Black-The color of night sky
Doomed; filled with negative will...
People praised black as fear
Dark, hopeless & helpless...
History picturised it as rascism
A social evil which swallowed the world..
Human minds were soon diseased
Hollow & haunted moulds..
The day I belived in myself
Relied on my strengths...
I realised black is the color of wisdom
Its the color of courage & perseverance..
Its the color of knowledge..
As the very first step towards learning..
Begins from a 'Black-Board'..
Its the sybolism of infinity..
Measure of depth & vast loads..
As the nature; the universe picturises it..
Black is never an evil, its just undiscovered..
Its thus the unexplored, unfelt
Part of human mind! ! ! ! !

A very eloquent commentary. There are no evil colors, only shallow minds (Report) Reply
