As time goes by it may seem as the era of black and white has gone
A new continuum a new once upon
The black and white light must now be shone
As I stare at the river with different earth like stones
I am still in need hefty loans
White still the colour of the skeleton and bones
To purify the water takes precious space and time
Water needed to live and earn a dime
Did the sound differ from bells chime?
Tomorrow is already here
Lives still filled with fear
Every day my eyesight down and less I hear
As I glance at the rainbow
The farmers still need to sow
Why is it that in the picture the life seems so low?
As we rush to make things faster
Loss of respect no real master
I need under my seat a giant caster
The imprint is leaving a mark
My life like the photo so dark
Do I really need to climb the rainforest to embark?
The colours so deep and green
Now I know that this is the uncaged scene
The air filtered and so clean
As I loom again at the photograph
The water clear and untainted in the bath
Yet the blood and gloom of war still a wrath
My liver still a brown maroon
Everything happens so quickly yet not so soon
The night still alivened by the light of the fullmoon
In reality it seems nothing has changed
All the colours still so exaggerated and ranged
With the walk of life I am estranged
I thought we advanced and moved the mountains, but it seems we have only little time to be exchanged
