Black Eyed Susan Poem by Marilyn Lott

Black Eyed Susan

Her name is Black Eyed Susan
Dark velvety her pedals are
If she were in a contest
Well, she truly would be a star.

Her center, her eye of course
Is just as black as night
Oh yes, my Black Eyed Susan's
In flower beds are a glorious sight.
