Black Lies Poem by Daniel Bowyer

Black Lies

Rating: 5.0

How can I trust thee, anyone?
I spewed love but once spelled hurt
And you two have been found to lie
That I found out and thorned my side
Not weep did I, but faith diminished
How do I know you start to finish?

See deep denial I heard thee say
But witnesses saw thy betrayal?
And I am the villain with a bounty out
When you hath broken my heart
With prince charming whom you swore to death
Well death betide us both them
Because death becomth me more than pain
