Black & White Poem by Ackroy Lashley

Black & White

Rating: 5.0

Let's look at wrong and right for a minute
I know we sang that same song for years
Do we know where we belong?
Humanity sometimes to me should be defined as insanity
What ever happened to harmony?
Even Christianity has no sanity
And vanity becomes sanity
Do you follow me?
I chose not to use profanity
Everything I am saying here reflects to back to our personalities
That's the only difference between you and me
Except for the obvious, our our skin tones
Close your eyes and think about it for a minute
We all travel the same route of life
Yet some chose to be trifle
We all know that ignorance is taught
And harsh words used by one or the other are insecurities of one self
Or the lack of knowledge of another
The maturity level of a person also ties into self-respect
Make the connection then work on your correction
If no this is called willful neglect
That eventually leads to disrepect of others
