Black & White Poem by Drich The Poet

Black & White

Hey, did you see what I saw?
I feel like I need saving. Josey, did you witness it too?
My heart is racing so fast, but I guess you wouldn't know.
I always strive to do my best, that's one thing you can't accuse me of.

I've dedicated decades of service to humanity, but it seems like it's all for nothing. Josey reached out for help, and I'm wondering if I should do the same. Even though pain can be beneficial, all I see is the contrast between good and evil.

I'm just a vessel, trying to engage in what's right. However, living by certain principles has made me a victim of gossip.
Fear sometimes makes us do things we shouldn't.
It's a terrible feeling to recall moments of joy when you're in misery.
Saying yes won't fix something that's already broken.

Today is all we have, yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is uncertain.
I'm Drich, and I embody peace and authenticity. I'm a wordsmith, bringing my master's thoughts to life with my imagination. You can call me the Duke of Words or a servant of Apollo.

But lately, all I see is black and white.
My friends, who once helped me out of trouble, are now in white, and the master planners and disrespectful souls are in black.
Life would be so much easier if it were simple to distinguish right from wrong.

Didi and Josey can't see things from my perspective. The purpose of life is to have a purpose, and death isn't scary as long as it's quick.
If truth is beauty, why do people never get their hair done in the library?

Didi and Josey, hear me out.
In this chaotic world, luck seems to triumph over hard work.
Let the readers listen and learn, for the value of imagination is immeasurable.
At my age and position, all I want is peace and truth, regardless of the cost.
After all, a good person is a friend to all living things.

Black and white is all I can see.
