Drich The Poet

Drich The Poet Poems

The law is bookish.
Says the British.
What do it can? ?
Questions the American.

Why do you abuse me?
In my concrete wall of prison
You only let me to be tortured.

Playing the game of life
As a kid was without regard.
Bumping into childish highlife.
We never chose to know pain or retard.

It's cold outside.
I want a place to hide,
Your heart will do.
That Inca city of Peru.

What have I done?
She demands me.
I said I don't know
I propelled the truth,

Par Drich Le Poète

Il fait froid dehors.
Je veux un endroit où me cacher,

Do you remember?
The month before December.
You said you was gonna stay
You said you won't delay.

My world is peace
My world is harmony
My world is growth
My world is joy

I am beauty.
I am art.
I am a masterpiece.
I am hard work.

Primarily I'm yours.
In crooked heaven
Or in bent hell
This fusion is a victory.

Drich The Poet Biography

My name is Daniel Ebelagu, but I'm better known by my pen name, Drich The Poet. I was born in Nigeria, but I grew up in Togo and Ghana. As a child, I was always interested in writing, but it wasn't until I saw my mother wearing a T-shirt with the words 'FACES' and 'PLACES' boldly written on it that I was truly inspired to pursue writing as a career. After completing my secondary education, I enrolled in university to further my studies. While I was a prefect back in school, not many people knew about my passion for writing. But over the years, I have written several poems and even started working on a play, which I hope to finish soon. As a writer, I am drawn to the power of words and their ability to evoke emotion and inspire change. My writing style is often introspective and reflective, and I enjoy exploring themes of identity, culture, and the human experience. I am particularly passionate about poetry, which I believe has the ability to capture the essence of a moment or feeling in a way that no other medium can. One of my proudest accomplishments as a writer was when one of my poems was selected for publication in a local literary magazine. It was a small achievement, but it gave me the confidence to continue pursuing my passion for writing. Of course, my writing career has not been without its challenges. Like many writers, I have struggled with writer's block and self-doubt. But through it all, I have remained committed to my craft and have continued to push myself to grow and improve as a writer. Outside of writing, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. I am also interested in travel and hope to one day explore more of the world and incorporate my experiences into my writing. Overall, writing has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my stories and experiences with others through my work as a writer.)

The Best Poem Of Drich The Poet

The law is bookish.
Says the British.
What do it can? ?
Questions the American.

From nowhere,
to somewhere,
it came to be,
a ruler,
birth out of the minds of elites.

Sits in the middle of papyrus, Preached about in his church,
Called the savior of man, -
Nemesis of trespassers.

Tailored in many mindset.
Different jurisdictions and explanation.
Varied purpose and limit.

Offender of the uneducated!
Betrayer of the lured!
Backstabber of the slaves! Companion to the wealthy.

Whom do you serve? ?
The helpless
or the helped? ?

What are you for? ?
To speak the truth or
convert lies to truth? ?

You have lost value.
The natives don't know
what back up they have.
Afraid of what not to do,
they become zombies in broad daylight.

Several decades of amendments
yet you can't still
satisfy your people.
Perhaps amendments
equals rigging.

They close you
and utter perceptive feelings,
in the name of the "law".

You bark and bark.
Eyes closed, and you end up
eating the wrong person.
Like a lighted banger!

Like a lion.
You roar and roar.
Brain's clogged, you end
up fighting on the wrong side.
Like a controlled puppet.

Law, without a suit is not a law.
Law is just law.
It's manicure makes it vibrant.
Law is ordinary whilst
lawsuit is an art.
