Bleed - Poem by Raven Keller

The trickles of red
Crimson regret
Slither like death near her heels
The river of blood
Ruby despair
Silently it feeds the dawn

What will it be tomorrow?
Forever drowning in my sorrow
I feel it flowing through my veins
Tainted blood, endless pain

Like the lapping wave it takes me
Again and again it drowns me
Again and again you bring me back to life
Just let me bleed
