Bleeding Heart Poem by Nofisat muibi

Bleeding Heart

The heart is whipping and bleeding.
My brain is trying to pick up the pieces, but it's too late...
I should have kept quiet!

My hands are running faster than the tongue, now the heart is bleeding.
Sadness, anger, grief, and shame are running everywhere.
Why am I a problem? I wish I was not like this.
Shy and timid should be who I am!

Everything is wrong...
What happens is for the best.
Being an admirer from afar is the best,
His happiness is what matters the most, at my own expense.

The sound, the roar of my trembling heart is surreal.
The moisture is uncontrollable.
Face of shame and regret.
Something is grabbing my throat, the sound, the pain is refusing to come out.
My fear came through, the forces came out like a storm.
My face is still moist with crystals, clear as the ocean,
The moisture is unimaginable. But with time, it will be alright.
