Bless Our Nation - Poem by Beth Sudduth Wills

Lord, bless our great nation
Likewise bless each nation
Revive hearts with goodness
With mirth and elation.

Open eyes that we may see
Out of sheer obscurity
Out of darkness and fantasy
Let confusing shadows flee.

Lift the coldness of tone, mien
Let bestowal be a tranquil aura
A peaceable habitation
Creation of joy to the marrow.
