Blessed Beyond Fear Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Blessed Beyond Fear

How blessed, how fortunate am I
Challenged, perhaps are you?
Even if on the earth I die
Certain, life will pursue

How bad was once my behaviour
Living with constant strife
Till Christ, became my Saviour
Causing to change my life

My past, no longer need I hide
Beneath Christ's blood soaked tree
Through Jesus, my God sanctified
Complete, my soul was free

Shame no longer, guilty no more
Repentant, saved, secure
Life's ring, life's crown, key to life's Door
Eternity is sure

Ecstatic, my heart beats full of praise
Life's King, holds my hand
With God Himself, now and always
I'll live as Heaven planned

Beyond Paradise, high above
Perfect through Heaven's grace
With peace, with joy, with constant love
I'll see my Father's face

Have you seen life's facts, like me my friend?
Sought God on Heaven's throne?
Did to Jesus Christ your knees bend?
Did your shame become unknown?

If not! Try your heart unlocking
Turn from your walk of shame
Fear no longer death knocking
Call on Christ Jesus' name.....
