Blind Poem by brooklynn dyer

Blind

Rating: 5.0

i fell asleep last night
to the rhythm of silence,
the ruin of darkness
blinding the eyes that
once peered upon the
beauty that is you.
this morning i awoke to
thoughts of your face,
hoping you hadn't forgotten
the wonder you once
saw in mine.
