Blind Men Poem by Angela R. M. Ferrer

Blind Men

Show me the truth
the one that boils beneathe your eyes
What do you see
When you gaze at me
Is it the one
Is it a lie

Don't tell me what you feel
just because I said so
Don't be afraid to reveal
even if the water's too shallow

Time can help us by
You don't have to try
So hard
Maybe I'm the one
Who needs to think it twice
Am I forcing lie
Or am I forcing love

If you only knew
The fear burning in me
If you could only feel
This doubt brewing in me

Your face can tell the lies
I can read it in your eyes
Don't try to fool me
I want us to try

I'm here, you have me, I'm not leaving
You tell me, it's the same, for you
But when I reach out I can't feel it
Maybe something's wrong
But I cannot see
