Blinded By Dogma Poem by HAZEEM OLADIPUPO OLUWATOBI KAZEEM

Blinded By Dogma

If God is all-powerful, is He just?
Or helpless, benevolent, we must trust?
Our fate, self-written, yet we deny,
Blinded by faith, our truth, we can't apply.

Like Adam's fall, we succumb to deceit
Neglecting heritage, embracing foreign feats.
Religion's veil, hiding our inner sight,
Inferiority's chains, binding our might.

Islam and Christianity, tools of divide,
Exploited by leaders, power to abide.
We blame God's silence for our own despair,
While deception reigns, and truth's left bare.

Quran's wisdom and Bible's light
Can't penetrate hearts shrouded in endless night.
Nature's demons watch, awaiting our demise,
As we tear down worlds, with self-destructive guise.

No messiah comes to save our doom,
Only self-awareness can break this gloom.
Let's shatter chains of dogma and fear,
Embracing truth, our true selves, now clear.
