Everyday I see you walking by
Not knowing if you notice me
As I watch you go by
I hope and pray you will look my way
Just to give me one of your smiles
That would make my heart melt
Or for you to strike a conversation with me
Or give me a hug would make my heart jump for joy
When ever I am near you my heart begins to race
Even though we are in the same place
Oh how I wish I could be in your arms
That would take my very breathe away
Every time you smile it brings me some joy
And thoughts cross my mind of us holding each other
I may not have the type of body you look for in a girl
But my mind, spirit, and personality are of that you can never find
Love I guess is blinding to you
I guess that is why you can never find the right person
And you wonder why your heart is always breaking
You go for a person beauty
But that is not what defines her
What should define young women is their personality
I just want you to know
You will never find a love as strong as mine
All because you are blinded to love
