Blink Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

I see two eyes in the shower
I stare at them for a long time
While they look back at me

Bright and white

In front of them
And on my face
Is a rainbow of water

If falls gently
making wet spots
Keeping me fixated
on those bright white eyes

Those eyes
Covered with crystal droplets
Blink
Shining and transcended

i close my eyes
They are still there
but
This time they're blue
And slowing fading away
At the end of my shower
