Bliss Poem by barbara williams

Bliss

Rating: 5.0

by chance
they met again
after lives of passing stark divides
by choice
they released
their old existences in the wind
by happenstance
they realized
the lifetimes they'de gobbled and raped and soothed
thrown together
by a nameless divinity
they licked their wounds
and inhaled sweet gratitude
by morning
their souls were sewn
speechless they wrote ten books
and danced to silence
effortlessly gliding
side by side
they teetered
and gently stepped off
the earth
