Bloody Tears Poem by Justin Gildow

Bloody Tears

Where you and I stand
It's surrounded by many statues
Even though they're not real
I have a feeling they know a lot of knowledge
And they know real emotions

As we move close to one another
We embrace
And gently touch each other's faces
And love finally moves in for the kill in the both of us
As we kiss

As we kiss
The statues begin to cry bloody tears

Their bloody tears fall
Their bloody tears coarse
Their bloody tears roll down

We're a bit shocked by the response from the statues
But for me and you
There's nothing we can do
We're in love even if we can't help it

Love is with us now, dear
What we see is becoming clear
As I continue to hold you near

Bloody tears mean something for the statues
Bloody tears mean something for me and you
